Our team is expanding to support our growing portfolio.The Senior Manager, Wine Club oversees all aspects of the wine club program supporting all brands within the Far Niente portfolio, ensuring a world-class member experience, driving membership growth, and increasing retention. This role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration across direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels, including Visitor Centers, Web, Phone, and Events
You will be successful in this role while performing these essential responsibilities:
1. Wine Club Growth & Retention Strategy
- Develop and execute programs to increase membership growth and retention.
- Implement targeted outreach and engagement strategies to reduce attrition based upon annual key operating metrics.
- Build and refine loyalty programs that enhance the overall member experience.
- Collaborate with the Director of DTC to analyze trends and optimize engagement initiatives.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Wine Club Supervisor and Wine Club Specialists, ensuring a high level of performance and engagement.
- Establish clear goals and expectations for the team, providing ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities.
- Strive for ownership and accountability to assigned responsibilities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the wine club team.
3. Wine Club Operations & Fulfillment
- Oversee execution of quarterly club shipments, ensuring inventory accuracy and SKU assignments.
- Align SKU selections and cost of goods (COGS) to achieve financial performance targets.
- Manage fulfillment processes, including transactional emails, test orders, and order receipt accuracy.
- Partner with logistics and fulfillment teams to improve efficiency and minimize issues.
- Monitor and refine shipment processes for continuous improvement.
4. Member Engagement & Customer Service
- Ensure outstanding customer service in all member interactions via phone, email, and in-person experiences.
- Work closely with the Wine Club Supervisor to train and empower the team in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Support initiatives to increase customer engagement and personalized outreach.
- Oversee and support visitor center teams in executing club member benefits and recognition programs.
5. Financial & Performance Management
- Responsibility for the wine club P&L, ensuring financial goals are met while controlling expenses.
- Develop SKU and COGS strategies to optimize financial performance while maintaining member value.
- Conduct quarterly revenue reviews to identify missed opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to close revenue gaps during low-sales periods.
- Track key performance metrics such as average order value, member retention rates, and acquisition costs.
