Our 40th anniversary celebration of Far Niente’s iconic Napa Valley Chardonnay continues with a collection of recipes inspired by the Far Niente kitchen, our winery gardens and the foods grown, raised and caught in Northern California and along the Pacific coast.
Some of these Chardonnay-friendly recipes are cherished classics from annual release parties or wine and arts festivals we’ve held here at our Napa Valley winery. A few were completely ad hoc creations that were too good not to recreate.
From Dungeness crab rolls and chilled lobster with mango to a savory roasted chicken with swiss chard, they are all infused with elegance, flavor and the enchanting spirit of Il Dolce Far Niente—three qualities that can transform an ordinary gathering into a celebration. And, of course, they are each a luxurious food and wine match for our Far Niente Estate Bottled Chardonnay, Napa Valley.
