Like every Far Niente family winemaker, she believes in the highest standards of winemaking, starting with a beautiful, biodiverse vineyard that is farmed sustainably and with precision. Capturing the spirit of each vineyard is her North Star—an approach she learned making single-vineyard wines at Nickel & Nickel. Then the art form of blending every Bella Union wine takes the wheel.

Blending is the passport to the beautiful union we strive for in every bottle—wines with polish, radiant fruit, texture, and joie de vivre. A blend of different vineyards, grapes, fermentation vessels, and barrels results in wines that are elegant and glamorous, yet smooth and versatile.

Bella Union Cabernet Sauvignons embody the beautiful union that we capture in every bottle—layers of juicy, red fruit flavors, a polished, silky texture, and plush tannins. Winemaker Brooke Price makes it her mission to highlight Rutherford’s beautiful red fruit and cocoa powder notes in every vintage. Our philosophy of blending Cabernet Sauvignon with other Bordeaux varieties makes Bella Union the belle of the ball when it comes to food pairing.

Our curiosity to experiment with new grapes found the perfect muse in Far Niente’s newest vineyard, Grand Sky. Tiny blocks of Pinot Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, and Viognier—grapes found in some of southern France’s most intriguing white wines—provide our winemaker with a playground of aromatics, flavors, and textures for Bella Union’s white blends. Each wine is quintessentially Bella Union: elegant, vibrant, and versatile with a beautiful seamlessness.
