Born from our discovery of distinctive new vineyards during the phylloxera epidemic, Nickel & Nickel Winery was created to explore single-vineyard sites across Napa Valley’s prestigious nested appellations, allowing our winemaker to capture the purest expression of terroir in every glass. From our historic farmstead in Oakville, restored and reimagined by the Nickels and their partners, we are writing the second chapter in Far Niente’s history of exceptional winemaking and tireless stewardship that honors co-founder Gil Nickel, whose battle with cancer coincided with the creation of Nickel & Nickel.

With our singular focus on 100-percent varietal wines from vineyards of distinction, Nickel & Nickel takes great pride in capturing the intriguing nuances of Cabernet Sauvignon grown in many of Napa Valley’s nested appellations.
