It's Here: 2011 Far Niente Cabernet

Every year we release our Cabernet Sauvignon in February—or almost every year. Since the 2010 Far Niente Cab, heralding from an especially small vintage, sold out in September, we decided to release our newest Cabernet this month.

Like the previous vintage, the 2011 Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a cooler-than-average year and offers intriguing sophistication.

Winemaker Nicole Marchesi offers these tasting notes: “The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas of tobacco leaf, dark cherry and a whisper of floral perfume. A silky entry leads to a juicy midpalate of red fruit and earth. Fine tannins carry a light briar note, lingering on an elegant finish.”
