Snow in the Napa Valley?

Last weekend Napa Valley was treated to views of a snowy Mt. St. Helena–even the slopes of Howell Mountain had a good dusting of the white stuff. Hard to believe that just two weeks ago we were basking in 70+-degree weather! Our higher elevations are supposed to be in for a dusting tomorrow. As you know, sometimes forecasters are right, and a lot of the time they are wrong. Snow on the valley floor is a rare thing but within the realm of possibility. Since both our viticulturist and landscape designer have assured us that a little of the white fluffy stuff won’t hurt our vines and springtime flowers, we say, “Let it snow, let it snow!” And if it does, you can bet we’ll post pictures!
