Our team is expanding to support our growing portfolio.The California Retail Chain Accounts Executive is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key Retail Chain Accounts for Far Niente Wine Estates.
You will be successful in this role while performing these essential responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key State Chain accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Including but not limited to Safeway, Albertsons, Vons, Pavilions, Raleys, Bev Mo/Go Puff, Ralphs, and others.
- Oversee day-to-day account activities, ensuring sales growth expectations are achieved and that the company’s products/services are delivered on time and with accuracy.
- Present programming opportunities, execute planning calendars and results for all the chain accounts to the National Accounts Sales Manager.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on competitor pricing structures and coordinatesNorthern and Southern CA pricing to best support programming product positioning.
- Regularly communicate with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities within key accounts and cross-sell or upsell products and services where applicable.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and develop mitigation plans when necessary.
- Manages Sales execution in designated markets.
- Manages and coordinates product demonstrations in the Northern CA market and oversee execution in the Southern CA market.
- Provides close oversight of their customer base in the Northern CA market by regularly visiting key accounts to ensure distribution and sales in stores are displayed and promoted in alignment to brand standards.
- Continually works to nurture long term relationships with key wine personnel.
- Provide focused education in the CA market with distributor, wine stewards, and consumer events.
- Track execution and activity in the market, identify and help deliver opportunities to the distributor in Southern CA.
- Work closely with FNWE team to work with both local and distributor execution.
- Forecast programming execution for local regional and National Account managers.

You will be qualified for this role if you meet these requirements:
- 5+ Years of experience in wine and Chain Account Execution and Buyer Lead role. Current buyer relationships with top accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or similar.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal, written and negotiation skills.
- Full body mobility.
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
This is a hybrid office position, but there are some physical requirements that our large estate requires:
