Founded in Oakville, California in 1885 and restored in 1979, Far Niente is consistently recognized as a benchmark producer of Napa Valley Chardonnay and Oakville Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.

Our team is expanding to support our growing portfolio. The Financial Pricing Manager will lead pricing strategy and execution for Wholesale operations, ensuring alignment with company financial goals, brand positioning, and market competitiveness. This role is a key decision-maker responsible for establishing, enforcing, and continuously improving pricing standards. The individual will drive accountability across the team, ensuring disciplined pricing practices that protect margin, optimize revenue, and support long-term growth.
This is a hybrid position, with requirements to be in our Oakville, CA headquarters a few days per week.
You will be successful in this role while performing these essential responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy & Governance
• Develop, implement, and maintain pricing strategies that align with financial targets and wholesale channel objectives.
• Establish and enforce pricing standards, policies, and governance frameworks across all wholesale accounts.
• Function as the primary decision-maker for pricing approvals, exceptions, and escalations.
Financial Analysis & Performance Management
• Analyze pricing performance, margin trends, and profitability by product, customer, and channel.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve margin and revenue through pricing adjustments.
• Build financial models to support pricing decisions, trade spend optimization, and scenario planning.
Team Leadership & Accountability
• Lead and mentor pricing or commercial finance team members (if applicable).
• Hold cross-functional partners accountable to established pricing standards and processes.

You will be qualified for this role if you meet these requirements:
• 5 years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, or revenue management, preferably within wholesale or consumer goods industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and hold stakeholders accountable across functions. Strategic thinking with strong execution focus. High accountability and ownership mindset. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and consistency.
• Strong financial acumen with deep understanding of margin, trade spend, and pricing structures. Proven experience as a decision-maker in a pricing or financial leadership role. Advanced analytical and modeling skills (Excel and/or financial planning tools). Ability to balance commercial needs with financial discipline.
• Decisiveness and sound judgment under pressure. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
