Harvest Intern for Bella Union Winery, Far Niente Wine Estates

We celebrate the beautiful union of mastery + artistry by showcasing different expressions of Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon, world-renowned for its consistently smooth and structured style.

Far Niente Wine Estates is seeking a harvest intern for Bella Union to assist with the production of high-quality wines from Napa Valley. This position will start in August and will run through mid-November (depending on the season).

You will be successful in this role while performing these essential responsibilities:

•Cellar cleaning and sanitation

•Grape processing/sorting

•Cap Management

•Helping with additions to juice or wine

•Assorted cellar work, barrel work, wine and juice movements, bottling.

• Operate pumps and harvest equipment

You will be qualified for this role if you meet these requirements:

•Winery experience preferred but not required

•Must be 21 years of age or older

•Forklift experience is a plus

•Commitment to excellence and high standards

•Ability to work independently or in a team

•Strong communication skills

•Ability to work long hours, nights, and weekends during harvest and bottling

There are some physical requirements, our large estates require:

•Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

•Walk, kneel, bend, and stand for prolonged periods of time
