“Dark and winey, this offers a reserved core of black currant and blackberry reduction that moves slowly but steadily. Liberally laced with tobacco, cool humus and roasted cedar notes, giving this a slightly rustic edge. There's energy and range here though and cellaring should help it round into form. Best from 2028 through 2038.”
