The Highest Level of Care for Your Wine
Exceptional wines deserve exceptional care. Premier Ground Shipping is our preferred shipping method, thoughtfully designed to protect your wine from our cellar to your door. Using a temperature-controlled transportation network built specifically for wine, your bottles travel in a carefully maintained environment rather than through standard shipping channels, helping preserve quality in every season.
Your shipment remains in refrigerated transport at approximately 55°F, minimizing handling and reducing the risk of damage. Near its final destination, ice packs may be added when conditions warrant additional protection before your order is transferred to FedEx or UPS for final delivery. Throughout the journey, you'll receive tracking updates so you can follow your shipment every step of the way.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Premier Ground Shipping?
Premier Ground Shipping is our preferred shipping method, designed specifically to protect wine in transit. Your order travels through a temperature-controlled transportation network maintained at approximately 55°F, helping safeguard your wine from seasonal temperature extremes while minimizing handling and reducing the risk of damage.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Most Premier Ground shipments are delivered within 5–10 business days from the date your order ships.
When will my order ship?
Premier Ground shipments depart our winery on Fridays. Orders placed before the weekly shipping cutoff may depart that same week, while later orders will be included in the following week's shipment.
Can I order wine year-round?
Yes. Premier Ground Shipping is designed to provide reliable, temperature-conscious transportation throughout the year, allowing us to ship with confidence during both warmer and colder seasons.
How does Premier Ground protect my wine during summer?
Heat can affect the quality of fine wine. Premier Ground helps protect your shipment by transporting it in a temperature-controlled environment, with insulated ice packs added before final delivery when weather conditions warrant additional protection.
How does Premier Ground protect my wine during winter?
Extreme cold can be just as damaging as excessive heat. Premier Ground helps protect your wine through temperature-controlled transportation and proactive weather monitoring throughout its journey.
What happens if severe weather affects my shipment?
If weather conditions make it unsafe to ship or deliver your order, we may temporarily place it on hold to protect the quality of your wine. If this occurs, we'll keep you informed with updates on your shipment status and next steps.
How is Premier Ground different from standard shipping?
Unlike traditional ground shipping, which often routes packages through multiple carrier sorting facilities and uncontrolled environments, Premier Ground transports your wine in a temperature-controlled network designed specifically for wine. This specialized process minimizes handling and helps ensure your bottles arrive in optimal condition.
Why are ice packs included, and why might they be melted?
When weather conditions require additional protection, insulated ice packs may be added before the final stage of delivery. It's completely normal for the ice packs to arrive partially or fully thawed—their purpose is to absorb heat and help maintain a stable temperature throughout transit. If your bottles are intact and not leaking, your wine has been protected as intended.
Should I ship to my home or a business address?
For the best delivery experience, we recommend shipping to a business address whenever possible or ensuring that an adult age 21 or older is available to sign on the first delivery attempt. You may also wish to select FedEx Hold at Location at checkout, allowing you to pick up your shipment at a nearby FedEx location at your convenience.
Who can I contact if I have questions about my order?
Our Wine Club team is always happy to help. Please contact us if you have any questions about your shipment, delivery, or Premier Ground Shipping.
