Crisp, refreshing, and vibrant, our white wines offer the breadth and versatility of Napa Valley in each bottle.

Fragrant aromas, vibrant citrus fruits, hints of floral, and creamy oak undertones keep us coming back to Napa Valley white wines. Their versatility and balance of bright acidity continue to demand exploration. Our Chardonnay is renowned for blending citrus, melon, and pear and aged in oak barrels, giving this white wine its distinct buttery texture. For those who want to indulge and linger over the sweetness of a dessert wine, our late harvest white wines capture the perfect pairing of apricot, peach, and honey layered with spice. Such commitment to quality, passion, and patience allows us to curate a selection of white wines that will delight the senses of both avid collectors and those new to wine. Our collection of white wines showcases the distinction and appeal of Napa Valley—wines that pair effortlessly with a great meal or are the reason for the meal in the first place.
Far Niente Wine Estates' white wine collection is anchored by the iconic Far Niente Chardonnay — one of Napa Valley's most celebrated white wines, with a decades-long track record of critical acclaim. We also offer additional white wine selections across our family of wineries. Each vintage reflects our commitment to crafting wines of exceptional quality that express the unique character of our Napa Valley estate vineyards.
White wines range from bone dry to quite sweet, depending on the style. The white wines offered by Far Niente Wine Estates are dry, crafted to highlight the natural character of the grape and the nuance of our Napa Valley terroir. Far Niente Chardonnay, for example, is fermented fully dry — its richness and depth come from barrel fermentation, lees aging, and exceptional fruit quality, not residual sugar.
White wine should be stored on its side at a consistent temperature between 45–55°F (7–13°C), away from light, heat, and vibration. Far Niente Chardonnay, in particular, rewards careful cellaring — it develops greater complexity and depth with several years of bottle age when stored under proper conditions. For everyday drinking, the refrigerator is suitable for short-term storage of up to a few weeks.
White wine is best served between 50–55°F (10–13°C). Serving too cold mutes the wine's aromas and complexity, while too warm reduces its freshness and vibrancy. For Far Niente Chardonnay, removing the bottle from the refrigerator 10–15 minutes before serving allows its layered stone fruit, citrus, and subtle oak character to fully express themselves in the glass.
White wine pairs beautifully with seafood, poultry, vegetables, and cream-based sauces. Far Niente Chardonnay is especially well-suited to lobster, crab, roasted chicken, scallops, and dishes finished with butter or light cream. Its bright acidity and full body make it one of the most versatile food wines in the Far Niente portfolio — equally exceptional on its own as an aperitif or alongside a carefully composed meal.
