The 2022 season began with mild March budbreak, managed summer heat, and produced bright, focused flavors.

The 2022 growing season began with an exceptionally mild start, with budbreak in March. By May, vines showed strong shoot growth and average crop yields ahead of mid-July veraison. Summer heat spikes were managed proactively with shade cloths and misting systems, preventing negative impacts. August's mild to moderate temperatures created optimal conditions for bright and focused flavors. This careful management ensured excellent quality throughout the season, resulting in a successful and flavorful harvest.

“A cool, calm cabernet from a hot vintage. It’s full-bodied but smooth and almost soft in tannins. The red and black fruit has good concentration and depth, with accents of herbs and olives. Aged in all French barrels with 50% new. Drink now.”
