"Also of note here is a new sense of freshness in the wines. In years past, I found the Cabernet lineup here to have quality, but with a fairly stiff and rigid feel. The wines now feel as if they’ve been given a chance to breathe and relax a bit during the élevage, allowing them to come out of the gate with a purity of fruit that makes them enticing early (though the lineup here will still benefit from time in bottle). Harden may not be fully settled in, but his approach and efforts are paying immediate dividends. All in all, he's clearly got Nickel & Nickel on an upward trajectory." -James Molesworth
