Russian River Valley
2022 EnRoute Hallberg Vineyard Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley
Nestled in the heart of the Green Valley AVA, Hallberg Ranch is a vineyard with a story as rich as the wines it produces. Lovingly tended by the Lokka family since its planting in the early 2000s, our inaugural Hallberg Vineyard Pinot Noir erupts with fragrant notes of boysenberry, pomegranate, lavender, and blood orange, inviting the senses on a journey of discovery. Upon entry, soft and supple tannins immediately envelop the palate with a graceful tapestry of flavors that evoke muddled olallieberries and hints of sous bois, adding depth and complexity to each sip. The well-balanced acidity lends structure and finesse, harmoniously marrying with the wine's rustic charm, culminating in an elegant finish that leaves a lasting impression of the terroir's essence.

Harvested from Hallberg Vineyard
Situated within the Green Valley subregion of the Russian River Valley, this sprawling 115-acre vineyard benefits from the cooling morning fog and maritime influences. Planted upon the renowned Goldridge soil, prized for its exceptional drainage, this vineyard proudly stands as the largest dry-farmed expanse in Sonoma County. This harmonious blend of environmental factors yields wines of remarkable terroir expression and concentration. With over 10 clones, including 115, 777, Cruz, and 828, contributing to its complexity, this vineyard produces truly exceptional wines. With a legacy of meticulous stewardship spanning generations, a singular expression of this remarkable site is revealed in our single-vineyard wine.
