As the newest member of the iconic House of Far Niente family, we share their passion for gracious hospitality and exquisite Napa Valley wines—with a twist of the unexpected. We welcome you daily for intimate wine tasting experiences in Rutherford that inspire creativity and connection.
That spirit extends beyond the cellar through our Artist in Residence program, which brings contemporary art into our winery. This season, Bella Union is proud to showcase Eduardo Sarabia, whose installation explores memory, culture, and place—adding a dynamic layer of artistry to the Bella Union experience. Whether you pop in without a reservation or plan ahead, every visit becomes a beautiful union of wine, people, art, and place.

An easy way to say hello to the Bella Union lifestyle. You’ll taste three debut releases from our winemaker’s small lot wines that span crisp whites and an elegant rosé to small lot reds that reflect the estate-grown Cabernet. Available daily outdoors at The Wren, our tasting bar and outdoor courtyard, or inside our luminous Atrium. The Taste of Bella includes an assortment of small snacks to complement your tasting. Reservations are recommended but not required. Call our guests services to upgrade to The Nook.

The Belle Epoque Wine Society—Bella Union’s lively wine club—boasts a private lounge for Society members. Reserve your seat for a complimentary taste upon arrival and curate your own experience with wines available to purchase by glass or bottle, as well as snacks.
The only tasting hosted in our soaring, glass-walled room with sweeping views of the famed Rutherford district, Bella Union's Jewel Box Tasting is the ultimate Napa Valley wine and culinary experience. This guided portfolio tasting—which includes limited-production blends of Cabernet and our Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon—is complemented by our chef’s seasonal pairings and stunning views with every sip. Reservations are required. Please note that this is a communal experience.
